20 MUST HAVE Baby toys that are educational and worth the money. All found conveniently on Amazon.com, these toys are perfect for your developing baby or baby registry.

As parents, you want the best for your baby and that includes educational baby toys.

But you also need inexpensive and convenient. In today’s world, nothing beats Amazon when it comes to saving money and easy shopping.

It can be hard enough getting out of the house to do the grocery shopping with a baby, let alone toy shopping! Amazon is by FAR the better choice for moms.

There are a TON of baby products out there. As an early childhood educator, I know that half of them aren’t worth the cost of shipping.

They’re cheap, gimmicky, and won’t hold your baby’s attention span. Not what you want when you desperately need five minutes to yourself!

With years of experience educating infants, I’m here to share with you my favorite toys for baby that are educational and worth the money and all found on Amazon.com!

The Best Baby Toys…

When it comes to baby toys, I have pretty high standards. And so should you.

Quality baby toys are:

  • safe
  • made from materials that will last
  • developmentally appropriate
  • won’t break the bank
  • open-ended

That last quality is actually really important. Open-ended.

Open-ended toys are toys that can be used in endless ways, rather than for one set purpose.

It’s the difference between blocks that can be used in countless ways and a toy that only lights up and sings when you press a button.

You can read more about the importance of open-ended play here.

There are lots of ways to create open-ended play for infants. For ideas on open-ended fine motor play for your baby, read more here.

I’ve read multiple blog posts on the best educational toys for babies, and honestly, most of them were total crap!

Sorry, but true. They were gimmicky popular toys, and the EXACT toys I would NEVER buy my baby!

With years of experience in play-based education and degrees in human development and behavior, I promise that these hand-selected toys are educational, developmentally appropriate, and toys your baby will love!
